I read about this flea market at 122 Christopher Street. However, I can't find further info as to when is it on... Which day and what is the timing. Would anyone know? Also, is it worth visiting? I like handicraft and jewellery...
Thanks,
Mel

Weekends and go early as they slowly breakup after noon. I bought some furniture and poster print there, still have it over ten years. Good junk if you look well enough. Have fun Cheers Tommy x
I did check that website as well as googled for a lengthy period. But no mention of the operation time and days. So at least now I know it is during the weekends. Both Saturday and Sunday? How early do they open?
A lot of these markets are open weekends 10:00 to 6:00.
Also have a look at Greenflea. They have two locations, but I only know the uptown one, in a schoolyard across from the Museum of Natural History, on Columbus and 77th St. The market fills the whole schoolyard and the first floor of the school. They're open Sundays only, year-round.

You'll see a lot of the same ordinary things you'll find at street fairs, but also some unique vendors who sell vintage jewelry. Unfortunately, most of the vendors at street fairs sell the same mass-produced stuff.

Only in New York can you do almost anything, anywhere at anytime. My favorite memory of New York is the energy you get from walking down either Fifth Avenue or Avenue of The America's on a awesome summer day.
Well, it's a tourist trap, of course...but the early evening view from the Windows on the World, at the top of one of the World Trade Center's towers, is great! New York is at its best after the heat of summer, amid the falling leaves of Autumn: October and up to December. The general ambience of the affluent areas to the East of Central Park etc.
visit the Statue of Liberty and the Metropo;itan Opera House. Lunch at the Tavern on the Green in the Village is a must, too! I love the hustle and bustle of shopping at the big stores in downtown Manhattan, especially at Christmas time.
