Niagara Falls Trip for 2 days

Hi,
I am planning to visit Niagara falls in the next month on 23rd to 25th. I am flying to Buffalo and planning to stay in Niagara Falls Ny in a hotel. Could you please suggest me how Can I plan the trip? How to travel from Buffalo to Niagara Falls and travel back? What are the other places to visit in Niagara Falls? Is there any place I can see in buffalo city or near by. I will not have a car for my trip. I need to rely on public transport.

There are 2 Niagara Falls. The American side, and the Canadian side. You need to have a car, or you can take the bus. If you are crossing the border, you need your passport. There are casino's now in NF, so you can visit them, as well as Louis Tussaud's wax museum. He's the great-grandson of Madame Tussaud. Then there's always the Hard Rock Cafe. Just a short trip from NF, you can go and visit Toronto as well. ~

Thanks for the reply. I want to see the falls from american side. Is there any bus from Buffalo city to NF and to go around locally is there any public transport available? I can spend some time in buffalo city also. Please let me know if there any places that I can cover in Buffalo.

Best view of the falls...

I personally think the best view of the falls is from the Canadian side. We went on the maid of the mist tour and got the blue raincoat-its a must do trip!! the boat goes right near the cascading water and you get hit by the spray but its actually an amazing experience! This photo I took on the boat. Everything! The fact that Niagara itself is a whole resort and so friendly! the beautiful fireworks we saw over the falls and the way they are illuminated at night! The lovely refreshing spary in the air from the water-in July temperatures this was a godsend! Just everything!
