Transportation from Niagara Falls, NY to Niagara Falls, On

by ulibcn

Hello

I'll spend one night in Niagara Falls, NY on my way to Toronto. My bus will depart from Niagara Falls, Canada. My question is: Is there any kind of transportation I can take to cross the border with my luggage??? It will be very helpful to get some answer

You could take a taxi.

Or, the Niagara Falls Transpot Authority (http://www.nfta.com) has a bus that takes you across the Rainbow bridge. On the Canadian side you can switch to a local bus (Niagara Transit) or take a taxi.

Good luck.

Hi there!!! Thank you for that helpful information. Now I know that is public transportation linking Niagara Falls cities on both sides of the border. Crossing by foot with luggage must be very uncomfortable. Thanks a lot

the walk is very short though across the Rainbow Bridge - we've walked it - in the winter! brrr! but it was beautiful. But why walk when you can bus...

Do the 'maid in the mist' boat trip and get soaked!
You can also walk behind the falls although you cant really see much but a fair bit of water!
on the canadian side, go up the skyton tower for a great view of the falls! Just standing by them, the sheer power of the running water is awesome!

View of a different type

To me this is really for the kids to see better, me I don't pay for the view, I'll just take a picture and ZOOM in! But the kids seen to like these things for some reason so give them a quarter and a little joy.

Go for a wine tasting

by tpangelinan

Terry and I went for a drive up the river coast on the Canadian side and went through wine country. As we were try to figure out which one of the many wineries to visit I saw the winery for her favorite Ice Wine and pulled in for a tour. Very cool and fun thing to do on a beautiful afternoon, most wineries have a guided tour for a price or a self guided tour for free then you go in and can try different wines for a small price. The self guided tour was very informative and fun and of course you will want to make a purchase! A little advice, you may see the same wine cheaper at the Duty Free store and you are limited to 2 bottles a person for what you can bring back into the USA.
