Is it possible to visit Niagra falls from Burlington,Vermont, during weekend. If so please let me know the cheaper mode of transport as Iam not having car.Please give me travel advice.
This is not easy - having a car enables one to drive in seven or eight hours. The best public transit option is the Greyhound (CoachUSA) bus from Burlington to Montreal running three or four times a day. Then a train from Montreal to Toronto, change trains for Niagara Falls in Toronto. A lot of time can be saved by flying from Montreal to Toronto but the bus station and airport are not near each other in either city. A helluva lot of travelling for one weekend. There are so many beautiful attractions in Vermont - perhaps you should reconsider.
It's not very cheap to fly from burlington VT to Niagara Falls from US side. However, you can get cheap bus tours from 2-3 days to and from Boston MA. Go to http://www.sunshineboston.com/ and this might help you. best of luck. chao.
i was not able to have fun with jet boating, though, it must be awesome~~!!everyone will discover the world famous rapids, stone-walled canyon, and legendary Whirlpool... the tour must be fascinate and exhilarate... next time i'll go, i'll definitely join the activity!!

My youngest Son complained to me, since the Skylon Tower was not open on the Observation Deck he wanted to ride the Areocar. He is the Bravest. After bribing my Oldest son we went on the Areocar. They Both loved it!
Make sure you bring an extra pair of shoes because they WILL get wet so that way you can have dry shoes to go out in after a tour involving massive amounts of water! Maybe even a pair of cheap sandals too.
I never realised till I got there that Niagara was a resort in itself and had plenty of other shops attractions and things to see! If you geta chance try and visit Marineland- an animal and rides theme park fairly near.We got a bus there from the falls easily.Its a huge park with thrill rides(one massive loop the loop rollercoaster that was excellent as well as other rides) and animals. I remember a deer enclosure where I was surrounded by a herd of deers !
