Still love Seneca Niagara best

by TripAdvisor Member PittsburghJudy

We stayed for a complimentary overnight and once again had a wonderful time. We still find that Seneca Niagara is the most generous with room comps, and we have definitely tried other places! No matter where we go, we always look forward to returning here. Great slot selection.

See it during the night...

by windoweb

See it during the night complete with illumination. Last visit was with Mike on my birthday May 21, 2007. We watched fireworks from our hotel room at Seneca Niagara Casino.

Buffet in the Seneca Niagara Casino

by tpangelinan about Buffet in the Senica Niagara Casino

If you are looking for a good place to eat lunch or dinner go check out the buffet at the Seneca Niagara Casino. This was one of the best meals we had here in Niagara Falls and one of the cheapest. There is a very large spread of all kinds of food from all type of meats, pastas, oriental, deserts, veggies and much more to choose from. This was a very ejoyable place to dine at. Then go drop a few dollars at the casino for a little fun atfer dinner.

Go check out the Seneca Niagara Casino on the USA side. We are not really the gambling type but had a lot of fun here. The staff is very nice and friendly, your money seems to go futher here than the casino on the Canadian side. We only dropped about $50.00 and played for hours, this is a fun thing to do to pass the time if it is raining or your just feeling like you don't want to be running around.

Smoking is intolerable!

by TripAdvisor Member WaitingforSunshine

They MUST do something about the smoking! It is a health hazard and ruined what should have been an enjoyable weekend-Each time I returned to my room I had to shower and spray my clothes with perfume-I could not wait to take everything to the dry cleaners-I would love to stay their again however my gambling will now be done in Canada at the casino that is SMOKE FREE--It was just ridiculous! My eyes were bloodshot the entire weekend! Please Seneca Niagara ban the smoking!

Very Smokey

by TripAdvisor Member Traci14

I have stayed at this hotel twice. The rooms are awesome. Very clean and as nice as a 5 star Las Vegas hotel. The restaurants are ok. Nothing really special. The problem with this hotel/casino is the smoke. After taking a shower at the hotel on the morning we left, we had to go home and take shower again cause of the smoke smell. As soon as we got home we had to change our clothes and do laundry. People walk around everywhere and smoke!

Disappointed, NY

by TripAdvisor Member NewYork145

Just finished our third stay at this hotel. Overall very nice. However, we made a reservation for a king bed room and were assured three times we were all set. Upon arrival we were told we did not have a king room. When we questioned the check in person, we were very rudely informed that they do not guarantee a room type, however you are not told that when you make the reservation after asking three times to make sure we were going to get the room type rquested. We were also quoted $135.00 rate and were charged $175.00 for a lesser room.

5 star rooms

by TripAdvisor Member elco1994l

Have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions, and been in a corner suite on the 4th, and 2x on the 21 floor all facing the falls , but you will not see the falls themselves, no room in this hotel will provide a direct view of either falls as the hotel itself is a few blocks away. If a fallsview room is what you want you need to stay on the Canadian side. The hotel is brand new, only opened since april 2006 and is just grand, the lobby is small and unassuming , but the hallways are bright and sharp. The king suites are amazing, very warm and masculine alot of deep dark colours, ceramic entrance way, floor to ceiling windows, automatic curtains, plasma tv, surround stereo with speakers located thruout the room, large bathroom with glassed in shower, large 2person jucuzzi located infront of windows, sitting room with sofa and chair, round table and two chairs, and the king bed is so comfortable you melt into it and don't worry about pillows their are at least 8 throw pillows that adorn it. The hotel has an indoor pool with a small waterfall coming out from on of the two whirlpools that are connected to the pool, the pool it self is only 4ft deep. Their is a fully equipped gym on site and if you are daring enough both the mens and ladies change rooms that are a part of the spa facilities have a steam room, sauna and whirlpool but these facilities are only for paying guests using the spa but if you can snick in it's worth it. The only down fall of the pool and gym are the hours of operation 7am to 7:45pm. Also you must check in at the towel desk, and their are two lifequards on duty. You can bring drinks into the pool area as long as it is not in glass. The restaurants on site are very good, 3 sisters restaurant is open 24hrs and the prices are very resonable and the food is good, the service is very hit and miss. The buffet restaurant is okay, food is good, not great and has a large and varied selection. The japenese restaurant has excellent dim sum and pad thai, and great and attentive service. The italian restaurant is very busy and the calamari is 1st rate, did not visit the steak house as the prices even for a steak house was over priced. Their is a small take out shop located by the main entrance to the casino that has the best deserts around.
The casino itself is large with high celings, and lots of machines and numerous tables, their is a non smoking casino which seperates the main casino in two sections. The machines are tight so don't expect many payouts, and the service for drinks is at best adequate just make sure you tip, or you won't see the waitress again period. Overall the hotel is a 4.5 star property Will be going back again in late January thanks to a free 2 night stay thanks to the players card, make sure you get one.

very nice rooms, tight casino

by TripAdvisor Member nyJt

nice rooms, very nice
did not hear noise from other rooms, beatiful bath, clean, etc
wish they would have a window you could open a crack for fresh air but many new hotels are doing this, must be cheaper.
the rooms are nice hotel standards

the casino i frequent often and it is tight. if you think vegas or ac are tight don't come anywhee near here cause its much tighter

staff is usually very nice casino is clean except on busy nights then its hard for them to keep up

three sister rest. is good but slow slow slow
one of the slowest
they really need to get new managers and better servers

if you are looking for a hotel in the falls it is the nicest unleass you go over to canadian side

enjoy
