I lived in Ogdensburg for 13 years. It's absolute best feature is the St. Lawrence River. It is absolutely beautiful, and excellent for boating of all sizes. I personally am not into fishing, but I now it has huge fish (Muskilounge??) etc. Ogdensburg is a relatively quiet town with not a whole lot happening, but St. Lawrence County is very quiet, and near the Adirondacks as well. If you like rivers and boating, you will love the St. Lawrence.
