family campgrounds

My daughter and her family stayed here in 2007. They chose the cabin rental so that they could minimize the amount of camping equipment they needed to carry on their Adirondack vacation.

This is a very upscale campgrounds with facilities for tenters, RVrs and people who want to stay in a cabin. Restrooms are situated in among the hundreds of campsites, convenient for a group of 12-15 sites. They are modern with showers and hot water and heaters for those chilly mornings.

Campsites can be rented with varying grades of utilities. Tent sites start at $25 per night for picnic table and fire pit; electric is $5 more; water is a communal spickot. RV sites start at $35 and go up to $50 for full service (water, electric, sewage).
Most of the sites are in the woods and clearings but a few are along the lake front (for $10 more per campsite).
The cabin sites are spread throughout the campgrounds and sleep two adults and three small chidren easily. The cottage sites are on the lakefront and sleep 4 adults minimum.
Cabins and cottages require you to provide some linens and bedding (see the web page below for detail... under ACCOMODATIONS)

During the summer months there are camp events on weekends and some evenings both for adults and for kids. Camp crafts, gaming events, group campfires, group hikes, flea markets at the community center and more.
