pretty good but a bit pricey
The Hampton Inn line of motels have always been pleasant places to stay for us on our travels.
And this motel was no different: clean rooms, fresh linens, no smoke smell, nice people at the desk and servicing the rooms. But I was a little surprised at the price for this particular unit; room was $110 for two queen beds and non-smoking floor. We have had similar accomodations in the area for a bit less in the past. But we did not make reservations ahead of time and it was a special college weekend, so we had to take what was available.
There was a nice view of the river and the places to visit and shop were within walking distance. The college was a short ride down route 417.
Everthing at this motel was okay; nothing special. They had an exercise room, a pool and a nice breakfast area for the free continental breakfast that was part of the package.
Would not mind staying here if we had to the next time but did prefer the Best Western for price and convenience.
