Is there transportation from Plattsburgh airport to the ferry to Grand Isle, Vermont and back?
I live in summer on the Vermont side just North of the ferry in Alburgh. Since I have always drove my car, I never paid attention to bus systems. But I did look it up and there is several buses each day to the Grand Isle ferry. 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. Only monday thru friday. look at http://www.clintoncountypublictransit.com/
Unless they have started a system on the Vermont side lately, there is only taxi on the Vermont Side.
This is a picture of the river from my campus dorm room. When the ice and snow melted we would ride the river in tire tubes. We would start on campus and stop downtown at one of the bars. After a few beers to warm us up, we would walk back to campus carrying the tire tubes. Always a great time.
