Reasonably priced Inn
I usually stay at this Inn when I visit Rochester which is about 2 or 3 times yearly. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Also for a little extra, you can request a room with a microwave and/or refrigerator. Just bring some food as there doesn't seem to be any place within walking distance where you can eat. The only negative is the carpet in the lobby which could be shampooed more frequently,, but altogether a quiet atmosphere, good for the older folks and for families.

Close to nightlife
Nothing fancy, but reasonably priced and very clean. Just a short walk away from bars, clubs, and nightlife.
