basically the colors here change from one minute to the next. YOU will have beautiful fall days in saratoga where its picturesque landscaping will leave you breathtaking and wanting to come back for more. The Major attractions in Saratoga are downtown. Downtown is huge, in the winter its like a ghost town. But when spring comes so do the pepole and the entertainment. Summer you don't even want to be here. If you live somewhere else stay there as much as you can. Track season is crazy in saratoga, thats next week to be precised.

Summers are hot and cool in the evening. YOu will see beautiful nighlit skies with cloud formations that they look so surreal as stillife portrait. This is the best time of year to go star gazing in saratoga. SOme great spots are The SPAC Park and Congress Park.

You know when summer is here when its tourist season. People all over the US come to Saratoga Springs, for two th i ngs. Money money and more money. There is the Race Track for that along with the Racino is in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs, near the race track. They just opened up a new nightclub called Vapor that will have entertainment live local musical acts. Saratoga is known for its prestigious victorian buildings, along with restoring old buildings as Union Preservation Hall, where now its a beautiful church with great acoustics. The community and Skidmore get together to put on Saratoga Arts Fest that just started this past year. Saratoga has a blues fest in the month of june, where caroline st. the bar street i will call it, fo thats where majority of the people will go. There is a hats off to saratoga in July and then August there is another one near the end of august. My adivce stay away from caroline st in summertime especially this time of year. It gets so packed and crowded in those bars, you dont' want to be in th em. Stay on the main strip which is broadway there is plenty to do. From fashion shows, to famous hairstylist, models, yoga, meditation, spa day those are nice, to lounging in the park. There is so much to do here., you will want to stay for more than a day or two. Then there is the night life where the whole town comes alive. Music in every bar, on every corner you turn from phila to caroline to maple you see music is just around the corner.

The busiest times of day on broadway are between one and five.

20 miles from my house.Home of the world famous thoroughbred racing facility,Saratoga Race Course.Victorian style town that shows itself off every August for the most sucessful racing meet in the USA.Oldest meet in the USA,also.Town is full of flowers and well decorated every August.Visit the Racing Museum and Hall of Fame for the history of the sport.Don't miss the racetrack either,for the traditions of racing in Saratoga,where there has been racing since 1862.This town is a must see when in upstate NY and especially in August during the racing season .The race track is open for 6 weeks ,always ends on Labor Day.Racing is 6 days a week from Wednesday through Monday with Tuesday as a dark day.
