Jefferson Clinton Hotel, Syracuse, NY - Reviews and Hotel Information

Located in downtown Syracuse's Armory Square, this hotel is a great location if you want to walk to the nightlife. The hotel itself was wonderful, offering a free breakfast including made-to-order omelets, a free DVD movie library, and multiple in-room amenities. It also has free parking just across the street in a well-lit parking lot.

I reserved the lowest-priced room ($109 via the internet)... upon arrival, the desk clerk proceeded to find me the largest room possible that was still vacant for the night. I stayed in a huge suite on the 11th floor that offered a spectacular view to the south. The desk clerk also happily pointed out the hotel amenities as well as the nightlife area only a few streets away.

The room was very nice with two queen beds, a kitchenette and a huge bathroom with floor-to-ceiling windows. The bathroom also offered a yellow rubber ducky for a little nostalgia!

This hotel occupies one of many historic buildings in the Armory Square area. Built in 1928, as the Jefferson Hotel, it was later renamed the Dome Hotel. After closing in 1986, building was vacant until the Hawthorne Suites opened in 2003.
