nice place to stay
My cousin Peg stayed here this year (2007) and said it was great.
She and her family took two rooms with interlocking door between which was very convenient for their situation. The rooms had two beds each and were non-smoking (which is good for the baby). She said they were "clean and cute" with enough room so that they could play cards at night to pass the time.
The package had a free continental breakfast (toast, cereal, waffles, pastries, juice, fruit, coffee). She said the staff were okay but she has been in the area before and did not need much information from the staff. The price was a bit more than she expected but was about right for the area (She is used to the lower prices up in the St. Lawrence area where they have the 1950s style motels with outside-access doors at lower prices.)
They also appreciated the near access of the Eastview Mall to get things for the baby that they had forgotten to pack.
I looked up the price for the motel rooms that they described and they ran between $110 and $140 depending on the extra amenities (microwave, whirlpool, refrigerator) you could choose.
