If you are planning a trip to the Corning Glass Museum, treat yourself to an exceptional stay at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. It may be a bit pricey for the average traveler ( myself included ) but is worth every penny. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel at home it what might otherwise be an "elitist" atmosphere.
Unique Quality: Ever had a room with hardwood floors and crown moulding before?
Be sure to allow time to visit the state park for a hike up the trail of waterfalls, a bit strenuous but you can take a bus to the end and then hike downhill.
