Down by the Marsh
If you enter the park at the North America section, you'll cross over a bridge that spans the large body of water that contains the Cypress Swamp and the Marsh areas. There are some cool picnic areas where you can escape the crowds and enjoy the serenity of your surroundings.
Look at this little guy! The kids were funny, playing around and falling down and all kinds of stuff that human kids do.
I wasn't sure if I was really looking at a girafe next to a pile of his own poop. So, I thought I'd put it up here and let you guys be the judge.
I had a staring contest with this guy. I think egrets are incredibly beautiful birds. And this one looked majestic with his stringy beard hanging from his lower beak.
Another sleepy bunch. These miniature foxes were not very interesting other than being cute.
These primates were caged up and climbed on what looked like an artifical tree. It was rather exciting to see two of them all of a sudden jump from the limbs were they were clinging down onto the rocks with their arms outstretched.
They were a very social bunch. They seemed to be cuddling here on the rocks or just shooting the breeze or something.
Can you find the warthog in this picture? He was being anti-social but I got him in this picture and I couldn't actually tell which side of him I was looking at until I saw this picture later on at home.
The Girafe and his poop again.
