$40-60/night depending in season
Looks like it came straight out the 50's - little roadside motel run by a nice family. The place is literally steps away from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate and even though it is not as nice as one of the chain hotels, it is clean and safe and a great value for the money.
This campground was a great experience- it is located on the beautiful French Broad River. The campsites are spacious and include water/electricity hook-ups. Each site is located on the river and the location is very peaceful. The price is reasonable and makes for an affordable weekend getaway!
This campground has one unique characteristic- there are train tracks across the river and every night around 3 or 4am a train comes through. When you are sleeping in the tent, you literally think the train is going to run you over, it is that loud! It is actually very cool if you don't mind getting your sleep interrupted.
It was nice and everyone was very friendly. It was also very clean. Has wireless Internet, Hot tub, and no curfews it just a short walk to Westville Pub witch is also very nice. I had a great time and I would recommend this place to a friend.
