This agency has an accessible and easy to use website - and offers homes for rent which will accommodate smokers and pet owners!

We were impressed with the home we rented. Reasonably priced, thoughtfully equipped, and a terrific location. Although we did rent at the height of hurricane season...

In fact, we spent a whole lot of the time watching hurricane Katrina make landfall while there.

Beach House Rentals: Rent a Beach House

Avon Motel: Avon Motel at the beach

The Avon Motel is located in a great location near several points of interest in this area. The Avon fishing pier is minutes away, lots of water sports, clean beaches, tackle shops, restaurants. Clean rooms with cable tv and free HBO, AC and a lighted fish cleaning station, what more can you want. Check out the website below for more detail and rates.

SOUNDSIDE Avon

The first level has 3 bedrooms (1 w/queen and TV) and 2 hallway baths. There is a convenient small refrigerator in foyer that opens to the screened porch w/hot tub and shaded deck. The second level has a master bedroom w/semi-private bath and great room with cathedral ceiling and lots of windows. The living/dining area opens to a wide furnished sundeck with excellent sound views for spectacular sunsets. Beds: 1 queen, 1 queen 2 single, 2 sets of bunks. Central air/heat, Ceiling fans, Washer/dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave, 3 Color cable TVs, VCR, Stereo/CD, Telephones, Books and videos, Screened porch, Sundeck w/furn. and picnic table, Gated deck for pets, Grill - charcoal, Lockable storage, Community swimming pool and tennis courts, 5 Person hot tub
We rented for the week at $1600.00 us plus a $150 security depoist which gets returned. Now we went in HIGH season , the same house rents from labor day - Feb for $475 a week.

Unique Quality: This house was the 4th house back from the Ocean but considered on the sound side . The part of the island we were on was less than 1/2 mile wide. So when we faced one direction on our deck we had a ocean view , turn the chair around and we had a sound view. If we walked down the steps to the back yard the sound was right there. Oh the fishing.
