Feel at home in Boone
Boone is named for the famous american frontiersman Daniel Boone.
It is located in the Apalachian Mountains, at 3000 ft high.
We were travelling the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped for the night in Boone, which is only 7 miles from the parkway.
The lobby of the Comfort Suites, with its fireplace, makes you feel at home immediately .
We had a room with a whirlpool and on the groundfloor of the hotel was a large indoor pool. It really was comfortable staying here.... Complimentary Continental Breakfast was huge with lots of choices, even small hamburgers.....
