The outside looks new and modern, but the rooms are a little dull and boring: average, yet clean.
Since the airport in spite of the many conventions in Charlotte seems to offer no or little possibilities to change money for passengers arriving from abroad on connecting flight, I had set my hopes to solve my cash problems on my hilton hotel and my credit card. But the sum I got only after longer discussions didn't really solve the problem and I finally found assistance in the new Westin at the other side of the convention center which, judging from the lobby's appearance, I will definitely try next time.
