This custom designed home is found in the community of SWAN BEACH which is snuggled between the Currituck Banks and the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge (north/south) and the Atlantic Ocean and the Ablemarle Sound (east/west). SWAN BEACH is home to the wild mustangs, a pure bread strain that has decended from the Spanish mustangs brought over by the early settlers. Homes are nestled amongst native vegetation spattering the waterscape which only the great atlantic could paint. Here, you'll find the best of everything that comes with living on these sandy shores.

Unique Quality: Luxury abounds from the heated Jacuzzi to the huge amount of extra living space that the wraparound porches provide...not to mention the front open deck reserved for sunbathing. Rental House: Built up above the floods?

I think I took this picture because this is a house that can be rented. You see a lot of homes that are built up above the ground like this. That is supposed to reduce the flooding from high water in hurricanes. Of course it may also increase the possibility of losing the roof - I don't know.

Note that this is a "restricted" Whalehead community - there is a Resident's Only sign on the left.

No one seemed to be manning the gatehouse, but maybe that was because it was off season.

Castle in the Air: They call this house Castle in the Air, and it was

This house is one lot back from ocean front, but you can see the ocean just fine. The wild ponies in the back and the ocean out front make this place heaven. So much room you will hardly bump in to each other. I really liked this house. I have stayed in a few more since. My favorite house in Ocean Hill is Ellis Island. Check it out, it is a 10. It won some awards and if you go, you will see why. I heard its worth every penny.
Warning! This place is pricy! You will never want to leave!

A Maze of Grace

This is the room that we used while staying at A Maze of Grace. As you can see the rooms are large. Each one has a door to the balcony. Its a really beautiful place to stay while spending your time at the beach.

A Maze of Grace

This beautiful home is named A Maze of Grace. It belongs to personal friends of the guys in hats. The house is fully furnished and is open for rental by contacting Twiddy and Company Realtors in Corolla. The phone number for the realtor is provided below. The house is just steps from beach.

Unique Quality: . Each room has a private bath. You will need your own linens and towels. There is a large in ground pool and a hot tub on the deck behind the house. The house is large enough to accomodate groups of 18.
