When my brother got married (again) in Jacksonville he supposedly called around to get the cheapest place. He found this.....you get what you pay for.
The Best Rest Inn is not glamorous (like the $350/night hotels I prefer) but it was a place to bathe, rest, and the people were nice.
Not much more to say really....it was $50 a night. That was good since we needed a few rooms and we were staying four nights.
They didn't leave enough towels...we had a double bed room and one towel. They also did not leave enough toilet paper...although, I wish I had picked up some more pleasant stuff at Target.
All rooms are suites with a king or two double beds and there is a daily Happy Hour.
Included in the price is a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, free USA TODAY (or The Wall Street Journal), oversized rooms with separate areas for work and relaxing, in-room refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave.
This is a great hook-up for a wonderful price...you have a nice sized apartment with a separate bedroom, kitchen and living room.
Bachelor Housing Division facility for Marines and DoD civilians who are looking for a great place to stay while on base.
The Hampton Inn Jacksonville is located on the Northeast side of the city near upscale retail and residential areas.
The rooms are nicely appointed, cookies are baked everyday for the guests and a complimentary breakfast is available.
