Foliage
How is the foliage in Maggie Valley this year? I plan to visit starting 10/26/02 and was wondering what the foliage is like.

Just got back from New England. Don't know where Maggie Valley is (!) but most of New England is experiencing a late Peak this year (mild weather in September). High altitudes are at peak now, but generally there is still a lot of colour change to go (although it is still incredibly beautiful).

OK - so now I know its in North Carolina! You'll probably find its on the turn ('some colour' as the NYTimes phrases it) or nearing peak.
