Carolina Mountain Vacation Homes: Best Views in Maggie Valley

This is a company that specializes in rent homes and cabins in the Great Smokey Mountain of Western North Carolina. We stayed in the Smokey Sunrise cabin and it was beautiful. The views off the porch was breath taking. They had a hot tub on the deck and you could see for miles. If you are going to visit or stay in Western North Carolina, I strongly suggest looking them up. We stayed here and drove to Asheville every day (about 30 minutes) just because it was so romantic and secluded.

It is a log cabin that has 2 king size beds and a queen bed. It has a game room in the basement. It has a hot tub on the deck. It has a gas grill that is hooked up to the gas from the house. It has a gas log fireplace, and it has a sunrise view that can't be topped.

Heart of the Valley: A Night's Stay

We pulled into the motel rather late at night. The attendant was quick to serve us and offered us very good rates for the night.

This certainly was not a motel to write home about. It served it's purpose. The motel is showing signs of aging, and has been for a while.

The most unique thing about this motel. The bathroom floor had been waxed, or cleaned, to a point that it was slippery. My husband claims his aim was interrupted by his feet sliding sideways when trying to go...hehehe

private rental locator: www.VRBO.com

My husband & I rented a cabin we found using www.vrbo.com. Our exact cabin was #26763. It was quiet, a bit rustic, and set just a bit up a mountain. Did you see the views? Awesome. The location was absolutely perfect, everything was within about an hour drive and we couldn't have been happier

Awesome view!!!!!

Most people come up to this...

Most people come up to this area to relax and they normally rent out vacation homes for week long blocks. Don't worry, there are plenty of hotels all around.
