Five years ago, we were blessed when we stumbled upon the Hanna House in New Bern. To be honest, we weren't even looking to spend time in New Bern, but were planning to head toward the coast. This wonderful town and this bed and breakfast has become our "second home" in our hearts. We travel to New Bern at least twice a year and always stay at Hanna House. The owners, Joe and Camille, will treat you like family. Everything is immaculate, beautiful and comfortable. The food is truly amazing. Oh--and the coffee!!! Words can't express. My hope is that you will try the stuffed French toast or the shrimp and grits----life just doesn't get better. While you are staying there, the town is just a short walk up Pollock Street. Don't bother looking for some other place to stay, Hanna House is absolute perfection. Wendi and Brian

Great Bed and Breakfast
The Hanna House was a delight. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed such wonderful food and hospitality. Joe and Camille were the best hosts. The Hanna House is the least expensive of all the Bed and Breakfasts on Pollock Street. (That is right in the Historic District.) The room was beautiful and we were so please we are going back for the Haunted Tour/Walk in October.
Unique Quality: Fabulous coffee!!! Delicious cakes, scones--I gained a few pounds.
