We drove over from Atlantic Beach, so we didn't stay here.

This is what the website says:

"Our front porch is spacious and has a swing, rocking chairs, tables and a view of the Neuse River. Our large sitting Parlor offers a cozy fireplace and a comfortable area for our guests to converse, play games, read, play the piano or guitar, listen to soothing music or just relax after a full day of activities around town. Complimentary wine and cheese is provided for our guests in the afternoon from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in the parlor. A guest refrigerator stocked with sodas and an icemaker are available on the first floor for our guest to refresh themselves during the day. As the sun sets on the historic town, homemade desserts are provided in the parlor for our guests to indulge in after returning from dinner.

Unique Quality: Six guest rooms ranging from $89.00 a night for a single to $139.00 for the most expensive double. They all have private baths.

"Grand second floor guest room featuring a five sided turret with stained glass windows. This exquisite room is romantically decorated in plum, rose and neutral colors. An antique 1800's Victorian Bed (queen size), marble top dresser and Kim's great grandmother's velvet parlor set take you back in time to a more gracious era. Original pine floors and assorted rugs compliment the décor. This guest room offers a view of the Neuse River. A large private bath with tub/shower combination and pedestal sink."
