North Carolina State park campgrounds are $15 a night.

This includes the use of hot water, potable water, tent pads and grills.

When the ranger comes around, you also able to buy fire wood.

We never mind paying the price for state parks, especially because of the huge budget cuts in recent years for funding.

Unique Quality: First come basis.. Sites are open March15- November 30.

The southern part of the park has primitive camping. To get there, you hike across the Yadkin river. The river was to high for us to cross the river safely.
