execellent downtown location
the sheraton raleigh hotel is located in the heart of downtown raleigh. many of the historical attractions of raleigh are within walking distance of the hotel. the sheraton is a great place to stay for both the tourist and business traveler to raleigh. the sheraton raleigh hotel is owned by starwood hotels so you can expect all of the amenities of this better chain. on a recent business trip to raleigh i thought the sheraton was an excellent value.

Great downtown location
I had a conference and the Convention Center is caddycorner from this hotel property. While the Marriott is adjoining to the Convention Center it was far more expensive - plus sold out! As I was traveling alone, I needed something close to the Center as well as safe and not shabby! This fit the bill. The check process was quick. The help was courteous. The room was modern, large and very clean. Even the room service prices were cheaper than most urban center hotels.
Unique Quality: There is a fitness center and indoor pool and there is convenient parking (In out priviledges) across the street. There is a buffet breakfast as well as knowing the hotel is close to so much downtown activities.
