Unique Quality: The elegant 'Victorian Italianate Masion' (from their own webpage) is located in a quiet historic district of Wilmington, two blocks from the Cape Fear River.

One can easily take a stroll along the water front Riverwalk browsing through small stores, galleries, and reaching some fine seafood restaurants.

From there, one can reach the deck from where one can take a river cruise on Cape Fear River. We took the evening cruise, very relaxing and cool. The cruise takes about 1.5 hour, costs only $6 per person.

One can also take a horse carriage ride in the evening, listening to the guide telling all kinds of historic stories about the streets and houses in the historic district.

The original property was burnt years ago, then inn keepers Dennis and Charles bought the property and rebuilt it into an elegant multi-story bed and breakfast inn. (You would see the photos of the building process, starting from the ruin till today, in the reading room).

The rooms are all decorated in different styles, some are more traditional, while others relatively more contemperary.

Dennis and Charles cook very good full breakfast every morning themselves. One can have one's breakfast either on the garden terrace in the at the back, or in the veranda, or in the formal dinning room.

The 'cupola' on top of the house provides a panoramic view of the river and city.

We had a very relaxing time there.
