I was fortunate to obtain free tickets to see the Temptations at the Civic Center.
This auditorium can fit about 12000 people. Pretty good for a place like Bismarck.
So, while in town, look up the activities and shows there.
I think there was also an event called Market Place which helps people to start a business or obtain pattents, etc...
After spending the last two years in eastern North Dakota (flat as a board), the slightly rolling hills of Bismarck are as fascinating as the Rockies. My visit hit at an interesting time - the snow had just melted and everything was very brown. The landscape had a very barren, scrubbed look. Strange, but beautiful.
The sky here is stunning!
State capital of North Dakota, with one of the ugliest capitol building in the country!!
Entry point for people coming to hunt in the area.
Also, the rendez-vous of young people going to the State college.
Lots of outdoor activities around.
