 | Select Inn Bismarck: Comfortable, Affordable Accomodations

Day 4, first night on the return trip from Winnipeg to Oregon we stayed at the Select Inn, not by choice, but the neighboring hotel I preferred had no rooms available. Much to my pleasure, the room was just a nice, the price was twenty dollars less and it was a great stay.
I must add that this hotel welcomes responsible pet owners for a slight surcharge of five dollars. Around the hotel are many boulevards of lucious green grass for doggies to walk upon. Responsible owners always pick up after their pets, of course.
My main criteria was the welcome pet sign. Traveling with dogs is not easy as one must make sure they are comfortable, quiet, and don't create messes and if they do make sure they are cleaned up properly. Hotels that accomodate pets are taking a chance and it is our responsiblity as owners to make sure they do not regret their hospitality. For sure, in this hotel, I saw no sign of previous pet occupation, which is good on both accounts.
