Take a Family Bike Ride - Lindenwood Park
by my2kids
Fargo’s largest and most popular park will attract up to 15,000 users on a summer weekend.
The park is the largest multi-use park in Fargo with five picnic shelters, six softball diamonds, a baseball diamond, beautifully landscaped campground, two tot playgrounds, restrooms and six sand volleyball courts, which are available for public play during summer months.
My children enjoy stopping here to play in the modern playgrounds.
At the enterence to the park is a water fountain that we always have to stop in and see -
There is a bike rental place inside the park where you can rent many different styles and seaters of bikes.
We like to go as a family and rent a surrey bike and stroll along the river bike trail.
If your looking for something a little different to do not to expensive and enjoy some fresh air pop on over to the Lindenwood park.

The heart of Fargo/Moorheads art world (besides the Universities) It is a must see. Rotating exhibits change often but are always good. The building is woth looking at too, a beautiful rehabilitation of an old timber and masonry building in historic downtown.
Fargo - West Fargo, North Dakota
by my2kids
A country gal myself born in the country outside of the capital of North Dakota, Bismarck.
Moving to Fargo was quite the adjustment for me. People drive alot faster here - but really - Fargo driving is nothing compared to Minneapolis- St. Paul driving.
For those that say there is nothing to do - you just haven't really looked close enough.
Sure we aren't the Twin Cities - and not Chicago or NYC.
But there is plenty to see and do if your stopping through.
Be sure to check out my travel tips - I'll keep trying to add more daily.

When you visit Fargo, please keep in mind there is more to it than the 13th. Avenue South area near the junctions of I-94 and I-29. There is a great variety of shops and restaurant in the downtown Fargo and downtown Moorhead, MN, areas.
