"Logan County Museum"
Also known as the Orr Mansion. Built in 1906 William J. Orr built his dream home.The Logan County Historical Society oversees any of the restoration. Don't let the front fool you. This place is huge!

These are on the 3rd floor in the ballroom. When you walk thru them you'll be on a beautiful front balcony porch.
There is 2 fire places in these front sitting rooms.
The original stain glass was stolen from the home. A local srtists made this one to replace the one stolen. It is located at the top of the stairs on the second floor.
The story is Mrs. Orr invited her neices and nephews over for the summer and had them help her scrape all the paint off the pillars in the sitting area. Gee I bet they couldn't wait to visit aunty Orr the next summer LOL!
3rd Floor. If you look at the floor there is two kinds of wood for deco. Bench seats in all the windows, then the walk out balcony.
This hallway in the back of the house was long and plain. I had to play with my camera. Do you see any ghosts! LOL! This part of the house use to be a nursing home. It now holds all the local historical facts of the area. Geneology, maps, pictures, memoribilia, mammoth tooth, past indian reservations. A lot of infor can be found here.
The museum has small replicas of the local schools, railroad, resorts, wars, indian info etc...
