Best Western Falcon Plaza

We have stayed at many Best Westerns and they all have reasonable fees, nice continental breakfast, clean rooms and fully functioning facilities. This one was no different except for a few added features.

They provided a microwave and small refrigerator and a balcony facing the back parking lot.
The normal AAA rate for double bed, no smoking room was $72 and for $6 more we got the added features. The room was in the very back of the motel, well away from traffic sounds. The furniture was obviously not new but it wasn't dented or broken either. The full bath was clean and no mold. I had my qualms about getting a motel so close to the college because of the hard use and loud parties I assumed we would find but we did not see any of that. Perhaps it would have been different if we had been there in May instead of late June.

The staff was especially friendly and gave us some tips on some garage sales / flea markets in the area (which my wife is fond of).
