Comfort Inn Northeast

The best thing about this hotel was its location. While staying at the Comfort Inn NE Cincinnati you're just 5 minutes south of Kings Island; 15 minutes north of the Cincinnati Zoo.

The hotel staff was courteous and the rooms were surprisingly quiet. There were kids in several other rooms, but you could rarely hear a peep. In our room we were provided with a crib, microwave, mini fridge, ironing board (w/ iron), and high speed internet access. The continental breakfast wasn't bad; fruit, cereal, waffles, muffins, danishes, coffee, milk, and juice.

Now onto the negatives. I found a used coffee pod in my mini coffee maker and a pop cap on the floor. That made an otherwise tidy room seem much less clean. There is only one snack vending machine for 3 floors and it was bare.

That was it. Those were the worst things. Everything else was pretty good. We were close to Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans and a few other restaurants. Also we were right down the road from some decent shopping including a Barnes & Noble bookstore/cafe.

The price was good too. With my AAA discount I got a King w/ crib for $76.49 which included tax. Not bad. Especially considering all of the hotels/resorts right next to Kings Island were all much higher (sometimes double).

Unique Quality: Nothing above and beyond unique. It met expectations which in this day and age is almost as good as exceeding them!
