Continent Pavilion????

Where is the Continent Pavilion in Columbus?? What is it near...I am driving from 3 hours away for Day 26 Concert...not sure how to get to the Pavilion...can't find anything online...thanks

Asian Fest, a cultural tradition

If you happen to wonder into Columbus on Memorial Day weekend, you might want to head out to Franklin Park for the Asianfest. This is a pretty cool festival with an oriental theme. There are many booths displaying Asian artwork, clothes and jewelry. There is also a good selection of food booths, mostly Chinese and Vietnamese food, but also some Indian. There are no beer booths, this is mostly a family affair. There is also a great stage area with Asian talent performing dance rituals and the like. A good way to spend half a day. Free admission. Nancy’s Home Cooking

Nancy’s is the spot for mom’s home cooking. The walls are decorated with signed pictures of football players mostly Buckeyes. The place offers one or two dishes and you can eat that or not. The food given depends on the day of the week. Noodle and Chicken on Thursday is a popular dish. This one sometimes sells out and the place may close early. Due to the construction outside on the sidewalk the restaurant was not too busy as it was hard t get in and see that the place was open. I got to try the delicious noodle and chicken and got a hard to get seat by the counter due to the sidewalk problem. It is a popular spot for politicians, OSU students and locals. It is where the news comes to get it’s man on the street opinions. Well, it has to be the Noodle and Chicken. It's the only one they have on Thursdays and the only one I've tried:)

Mardi Gras has many flavor to choose from. There are old favorites such as vanilla, butter pecan and Oreos. They also have exotic flavors such as green tea, lichee, sweet rose, guava and Kesar Pista. I tried the ginger ice cream which had pieces of candied ginger which was good. The wall has pictures of customers eating their ice cream.

Coming soon: The Arena district- Columbus has an NHL expansion team moving in for the 2000-2001 season. This area will prove to be a hotbed of activity from the sounds of it, but it won't be operational 'til summer 2000.
Learning about AIR w/gadgets..alot of fun @ COSI

In this section of gadgets the kids learned about air. They got to put balls into air streams and watch with the different air pressures how high some of them would go.
They enjoyed this section also. The kids truly enjoyed playing and learning at the COSI
next time we plan on staying longer.
