Not Bad for $30
We pricelined this hotel at the last minute the night before we were headed out to Columbus. On a whim Liz suggested I bid $30 for a room...and was I surprised when my low bid was accepted. The hotel is located right by the Busch corporate center(close to major roads and highways) and is surrounded by plenty of shopping and resturants. Check in was very easy and the front desk staff was very fiendly. Our room was on the third floor and far down the hall from the elevators and vending. The room was very nice and clean. There was a desk, chair, ottoman, TV, bed, large closet, mini bar/fridge and bathroom. On the bed was a red mesh bag that had earplugs, sleeping mask and lavender scented pillow mist to help relax; I thought it was a nice touch. The bed was a bit bouncy but not too bad. We both had a nice restful sleep after a long day of driving and visiting with friends.
I would definitely stay here again for the location, quaity and overall friendliness experience at this hotel.
Unique Quality: The pool here is incredible with an indoor section that you can swim through to the outside. There is also a bar and a restuarant on site. The hotel breakfast is rather inexpensive at $12.99 a person for a complete breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, juice and fruit.
