Olentangy Bike Path

Walking, Biking, Hiking, Running, Skating.... it is 12 miles mostly along the Olentangy River. It is a nice wide area, and pretty scenic. Can be a romantic place to talka walk or a family activity which allows kids to bike away from the street.

Great food, great wine, great ambience, great location, great prices. That's pretty much all there is to say. The Burgundy Room is on the Short North, which makes it a great place to go if you're attending the monthly Gallery Hop. Tapas, of course. Everything.

Festivals, Festivals, Everywhere

Columbus loves it's festivals. All summer long, pretty much there is a festival somewhere, usually around downtown. There is the Arts Fest. The Hemp Fest, (with every type of bong sold under the sun, and personally I think hippie chicks are very hot!) Comfest is great for the music scene. They are lots of fun and is certain to appeal to all tastes. A bit pricey with the food and drinks, but what festival isn't.

North Market

The North market has been a Columbus tradition since 1876. Here you can buy various types of fresh foods. Here you can find cheese, meats, produce, baked goods flowers, ethnic foods and other products. There are many places to eat. There is an Asian place which makes some great Asian sandwiches on fresh bread. Also, there is a place where you can try various types of fresh salsa before you purchase it. I brought several, I liked the peach salsa. Jeni’s Ice Cream is also in this location, the goat cheese ice cream with raspberries was my surprise favorite. Firdous Express was the only place which disappointed me with their grape leaves which were stale and dry inside. There are various festivals and events held throughout the year.

"Budget Shopping"

My pick is Schottenstein's Dept. Stores (Clothes, Shoes, Jewlery and more) 4 locations Columbus. It's a place where you love it or hate it. Not many people in Columbus area brag about this store, but many shop there. I happen to love it. Name brand clothes at great prices. Alot better than J.C. Penny Outlet. Note in Keeping with tradition of the Jewish faith Closed on Saturdays.
