Great Drinks
by tee0206 about Elevator
This downtown restaurant/bar has my favorite martinis in Columbus. I think I had some sort of really girly Starburst martini that still remains to be one of my favorite alcoholic beverages. Anyway, this place is fairly trendy and has a cool atmosphere. I hear the food is decent, but I've never actually had food there. The martinis are pretty good, though.
The best Pizza in Columbus
by AnitaCarrie about Hounddogs, Three Degrees of Pizza (and Ravari Room
The restaurant is kind of dark, and sometimes the service isn't that great (if say you go at 3am), but dude the pizza is amazing with and extra zing! I personally believe it is worth it. There is a bar (Ravari room) connected to HDs, so you can go over there get a glass of beer and drink it with your pizza in the other room.
They have a parking lot in the back, a little hidden if it is your first time there.
Open 24/7 Get the Smoking Joe's crust! it is the garlic butter crust, and babe you will be very glad you got it.
I like a lot of veggies on my pizza, but really as long as you've got the SJ crust, you can't go wrong
The Topiary Garden
by lashr1999
It depicts in topiary the painting A Sunday On The Island Of La Grande Jatte. This was one of Georges Seurat's paintings. There are 54 topiary people, eight boats, three dogs, a monkey, a cat and a real pond. There is a bronze plaque which shows the painting as Georges Seurat saw it. It is a pretty nice park. You can sit and look at the topiaries relax and read.
Visit German Village
by spartan
The area known as German Village today was laid out as South Columbus in 1841. The name German Village is due to the significant German immigrant population that settled in South Columbus (the largest arriving between 1840 - 1860). The immigrants came to the United States to escape oppression in their country and to enjoy the blessing's of liberty and the rights of citizenship.
My hometown...

I've lived in Columbus since I was 10, so I would like to think I know my way around the town very well. If anyone wants suggestions on where to go/what to do while they're there, I'm a good person to ask.
