Our trips to Columbus are usually just for a weekend or a night so a smal overnight bag is perfect. CAsual wear is fine just a pair of jeans and some button down shirts for me. Bring an umbrella though in case it rains. Shampoo, hair gel, contacts, eye glasses, eodorant, tooth brush, tooth paste, hairbrush and lotion.
If you go into Game Works & go down the stairs, you'll see a bar and all these video games that you can play. Behind the bar is a "Screening Room" with a big-screen TV and leather couches. Go in there sit down, watch the game. A waitor/waitress will come in and give you menus. You can order food & drinks while you sit on leather couches in a private room while watching the game.

GameWorks is like nowhere else. Each location is uniquely designed to merge entertainment and social interaction with state-of-the-art technology. Guests can eat, drink, party and play amidst the latest in high-tech interactive entertainment in a dynamic and energetic atmosphere. We found this place when we were trying to watch the Browns - Eagles game earlier this year. I had a grilled BBQ chicken sandwich. It was really good. Serivce was really good too.
Chicken sizzles, you smell the spices, the music is a little loud, steel tables and blonde wood chairs are the scene under ductwork. The food is good, huge and makes you want to come back for more. I had a Carnitas Burrito (giant flour tortilla filled with cilantro-lime rice, black beans, cheese, seasoned pork and roasted chili-corn salsa) with chips and salsa on the side.
This is a picture I took of the staircase replica they had from the TITANIC in the exhibit. This exhibit was amazing. It has over 350 actual artificates brought up from the ocean floor from the TITANIC ship.
When you board the TITANIC exhibit they give each person even kids, a card with actual information about a passenger on the ship.
At the end of the tour on the wall it is listed who lived or died, so you can see if your person survived the TITANIC.
My person was MRS. RYERSON, she survived but her husband did not.
My niece Tayler was MRS. ISIDOR STRAUS she did not make it, she stayed behind with her husband. Shari, Tiffany and Noel's people all survivored. But Cullen's person was a second class passenger and didn't make it.
The children were all fascinated by this and I had to look up more information for them on their people on the internet once we got home.
The tour is amazing. YOU must go. It will be on display until Sept 2005 at COSI in columbus. check out website.
At the edge of downtown on High Street is the worldheaquarters for Nationwide, a corporate holding company for a group of insurance and financial companies that had their start in Columbus. The cluster of buildings at One Nationwide Plaza is dominated by a 40 story skyscaper built in 1977. The multilevel plaza includes a large fountain and landscaping.
