Outstanding facility and service

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on October 5, 2014

My group of 11 stayed at the Hyatt Regency Columbus in 4 rooms for 4 nights while attending a huge conference taking place at the hotel. We had an outstanding experience. The rooms were large and comfortable, the view was great, the climate control was perfect, and housekeeping did a wonderful job every day. We were more than pleased with the accommodations. The staff was very helpful, and also personable. We never felt like they were put out by any of our questions or requests. The conference used many of the rooms, I think even all of them on the 2nd floor and some on the first, plus a ballroom and a larger meeting room. All the rooms were ready and set up well for the meetings. I can't imagine a better place either to stay or have a conference. The conference was over after check-out time, and the hotel provided a room with an attendant where we could keep our luggage safely. I can't say enough good things about this hotel!
Note: When I read the reviews before arriving, the only complaint was about the slow elevators. We didn't notice a problem with that, except of course when more than 1000 people have to be somewhere at the same time in the morning, it did get somewhat congested. But even so, I didn't wait even 5 min. for an elevator during my stay

Nice Hotel for a nice price

We were lucky enough to get a nice room from priceline.com at the Hyatt. Service and the facilities more than met our expectations.

Unique Quality: With great views over looking the city and we happen to face east wild red glowing sunrises greeted us every morning. The exercise room and pool area are clean and well maintained. The regency location is a short walk to many attractions so eating and going out is really easy.

Directions: Next to the Nationwide building at high street.
