Schuster Center for the Performing Arts by yooperprof
Daytonians are proud of their new Performing Arts facility, the $121 million Schuster Center. Designed by famed international architect Cesar Pelli, the Center is home to the Symphony Orchester, Opera and Ballet companies of Dayton, and also hosts touring Broadway shows as well as "straight" theater. It opened in 2003.There's an elegant cafe for dining, and a beautiful Winter Garden as well. The fact that the facility is well-used compensates for a certain lumpishness to its design, IMHO.
