Right off the Ohio Turnpike Exit 145
This Super 8 was more expensive then the one in Morgantown WV (it started out at $67.10 but when all the taxes were added, it ended up being over $76.00), but it was also better built and there wasn't a noise problem. Apparently it used to be a Ramada. It was also not a three story hotel. Our room faced on the pool and interior patio.
The girl at the desk in the evening was extremely unhelpful, and could not give us followable directions to a place to eat, although we found out later that there was a map she could have given us. The directions in the room had the wrong number to dial for local calls, and she didn't know what the right one was.
The directions to the hotel were very confusing - much more confusing than necessary because you almost can't miss it.
They also insisted on putting the safe on the bill for an additional charge. A small charge it is true, but we had to watch the bill to see that it was not on there. They put in on when we checked in and we refused it and signed. And then it was on there again when we checked out.
Unique Quality: It is supposed to have a heated outdoor pool, and there is a pool, but the literature at the hotel says it is only open in the summer. I do not know when summer starts, or why it should be heated in the summer.
They do have free local calls and a continental breakfast. At this motel it consisted of various dry crumbly donuts, hot water to make oatmeal or cocoa (although there were no bowls for cereal left), cold cereal (3 kinds) and milk, orange juice and some disqusting fruit punch, coffee (of course), a toaster and bread to make toast (no waffles or French toast) and hard boiled eggs.
