Holiday Inn Fairfield
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Fairfield for three days while on a business trip. The hotel itself was clean, the staff friendly. My room, on the other hand, was not a treat. I have stayed in many smoking rooms in the past, and this one was wretched - no ventilation in the room, stained and burned carpets, and no working window to allow some fresh air in the room. Because of the way the fan system sits below the window, my only option for air circulation left me with little sleep since the fan blew the curtains open all night long, leaving a street light to shine directly into my room.
I would stay here again, but only in a non-smoking room.
