Kelley's Island State Park Campground: Stay on the Lake
My family and I tent camped at the State Park Campground for three days. We selected a “premium” non electric site right on the water. It was crowded but very nice. Because you need to take a ferry to get to the island, there are fewer giant RVs then normal. You could go to sleep overlooking Lake Erie. During the day, the lake gets crowded and noisy with lots of speed boats and wave-runners. However, at night, they basically clear out and the most you might have is a couple of sail boats spending the night.
You can camp overlooking the water.
