Lebanon - A secret gem
Lebanon is a very nice, small community a bit northeast of Cincinnati off on Ohio Rt-42. It is probably best known for the delicious food and charming atmosphere of the historic Golden Lamb Restaurant and Hotel. There are a number of other unique shops and good restaurants that line the main street, which is usually decorated with flowers or other ornaments that are associated with the various holidays.
Most places and things of interest in the old part of town are within walking distance, including the city park, which boasts a white gazebo, sundials, and various colorful and well-kept gardens. I might suggest taking a few hours out of your day to slow down, smell the roses, and enjoy a bite to eat if you are in the area.
