Karen and I bought this house and moved on an impulse in April of 2006. We were living in Sharonville, about ten miles away, when we went to Columbus, Ohio for the day to visit Karen's daughter, Jennifer. Jennifer was in the process of buying a new home. As we were driving back to Sharonville, Karen and I were discussing how nice Jennifer's new home was, and we asked ourselves, "Why don't we upgrade our own house?" We had finished paying our house off some time ago and were now putting the money we had formerly made for house payments into a savings account.
So that evening after arriving back home we went online to see what houses might be available in our area. We found this house, on a 3/4 acre wooded lot, with a very private back yard on a cul-de-sac, and both of us thought it was just what we needed. The next day we drove over to see the house and walked around the outside. We fell in love with the large windows and the sunroom looking out over a small pond in the shaded back yard. Through the windows we could see that the interior of the house wrapped around a glassed-in atrium with skylights above. We called the realtor and asked him to meet us at the house the next evening. To his surprise, we made an offer on the house, and within a very short time it was ours. Our old house sold in only 8 days.
Our "new" house is 26 years old, has 3,000 square feet, including a partial finished basement, and is in a very nice neighborhood. We love it here in Loveland! If you're ever in the area, let us know and if we're not out traveling, we'll invite you over for a visit.
