Baum Opera House
Miamisburg was important enough in the late 19th century to have its own opera house. This interesting example of French Empire architecture was dedicated in 1874. Not that it's always been used for its intended purpose: bowling, basketball, and dancing are just three of the activities that have taken place inside. It has been recently renovated, and now serves as a meeting and reception hall, as well as the home of a small firefighting museum.
