LizLucas's new Miamisburg Page
I started coming to Dayton, Ohio in 1992 since my then employer had their headquarters in Miamisburg.
Once I arrived at 3:00am in the morning. I would stay at the Guest Quarters about 5 minutes away from our campus.
I loved the food, and my friend Sara Ely would take me to different great restaurants.
One restaurant that will have a place in my memory is
The Golden Lamb in Lebanon. It is one of the oldest hotels with authentic Shaker furniture, not to mention the ghost.
I first came to the Golden Lamb in December for training when I joined the company. And I had Bob Cratchit's dinner of celery soup to start, and roast goose, then for dessert I had plum pudding. To wash it down I had a hot toddy. When I came back another time, I had venison.
You could actually stay at that hotel, but it was too spooky for me. I will attempt to someday when we pass through that place again.
