A small town with lots to offer!
"Tourism"
This small town is nestled comfortably equidistant from Cleveland, Columbus, and Pittsburgh.
There are several great golf courses, and lakes in the area.
For kids (even us big kids) there is a very nice park that has rides, including a carousel, mini-roller coaster, mini-ferris wheel, batting cages, putt-putt golf and lots of places to enjoy a picnic. There are concessions during the summer, and summer concerts in the amphitheater.
There is a lot of history in the area, including American Indian history, separatist, and Swiss history. It is also close to Sugarcreek and Holmes County which have significant Amish populations and the accompanying craft stores and tourist shops associated with that lifestyle.
There are plenty of restaurants and a medium sized mall for shopping. Walmart is close to the Interstate exit, along with other retailers.
Motels are fairly plenteous, though they can be booked up during the tourist season. There is an active Chamber of Commerce for Tuscarawas County.
In the neighboring city of Dover, Ohio, one of the high points of interest is the Warther Museum, which displays a brilliant collection of wood and ivory carvings done by the late Mooney Warther. A definite "must see"!
