The home of the English, Zoology, Botany departments. Well, in 1970's it was.
Home of the Political Science Department and Sociology. Named for Benjamin Harrison, alumni and President of the United States. Most of the classroom buildings are located in the center of campus between South Campus Street, High Street, Patterson Street, and Oxford Street.
Nearly all students at the university spend at least one year in dorm housing. There are four major housing areas and a few remote ones. South Quad has the upper and lower sections. Freshmen were always in the lower area (where this dorm is) and upper classmen and the sororities in the upper section. Sororities aren't allowed to be in off campus housing. East Quad is mostly freshman. North Quad is upper classmen and was the first coed housing units (suites of boys next to suites of girls). Then, there's Western Campus, which was a separate school when I was at Miami. Today, it's part of the school and has housing units.
